Improve your Online World Language Course – Five Hour Series

When we talk about teaching a language online, we need to take the unique nature of teaching and learning a second language learning into account.   In this five hour course we will take a look at your online World Language course to determine if it could further exploit the affordances of the online learning environment to enhance language acquisition for our learners.  We will evaluate your course against the ACTFL  Standards and Performance indicators.  We will consider if your course incorporates the principles of Communicative Language Teaching.  We will find new resources and applications that will improve student learning in your class.   This course is for the online language teachers who would like to improve their practice in delivering quality instruction using their current platform to help students move forward on the proficiency continuum.
