This excerpt from Bridge the Gap to Online Teaching is an overview of issues related to learner supports and augmenting content. We will review our responsibilities in supporting diverse learners in online classes, what it means to make our classes accessible, and ways we can support our online students. Using best practices on augmenting content for accessibility, including Universal Design for Learning, we’ll modify a portion of one of our online courses to improve its accessibility.
