Digital Citizenship

This excerpt from Bridge the Gap to Online Teaching is an overview of issues related to digital citizenship.   In today’s digitally connected world we all need to work towards helping our students become positive and contributing global citizens.  This course will help teachers understand the issues around online laws and polices as well as modeling using technology in a safe and ethical manner.  It will review the most important information  students need to know for both what is appropriate online as well as how to keep themselves safe.   It will also introduce some issues around online equity of which both teachers and students should be aware.
